Isa What?

I am officially registered for the 2010 Isabody Challenge.

This body transformation challenge is hosted by Isagenix with $150,000 in cash prizes. The grand prize winner will take home $10,000!!

For those of you who are new to my blogs, Isagenix offers nutritional cleansing products and programs. They are all natural and stimulant free. I did the 30 Day Cleanse in December and took off 19 inches and 10 lbs.

At first I dismissed the idea of participating in this challenge because Sandy and I are trying to get pregnant this year. For some reason I just got really inspired a couple of days ago to participate and mostly to coach others to compete. This may just be the motivation that we need to make some major lifestyle changes and really this experience could change our bodies, minds and lives forever.

Due to my current weight range, I will have to sculpt my body to be even mildly competitive. Some contestants will be able to wow the judges with shear numbers, but I will have to transform my body to look like I belong in Ms Figure or on the cover of a magazine. This is really scary for me because this is taking me to a place I have never been before. I am going to be way out of my comfort zone. I will have to draw on inner discipline, motivation and strength that I have never touched before.

Mentally, I am going to have to allow myself to succeed. I have struggled with weight my whole life. I have never felt proud of my whole body. I'm sure part of me just tells myself to be happy with what I have (not a bad message) and that I am not meant to have the body I could only dream of (this is the bad message).

So here I am. Bold decision in hand. Scared. Excited. I'm not sure what to expect...

... but I will proclaim: I am determined to be an over comer. To overcome fear. To overcome complacency. To overcome the negative messages planted in my brain. To overcome procrastination. To overcome excuses. The time is now. Victory calls and I am calling back.

Join me on my exciting new adventure!

  1. Wow! Aren't you the inspiration!! Thanks for sharing - count me in as a cheerleader for your endeavor!! You have determination to spare and have been an overcomer time after time in life's challenges. And on this goal, I can already hear the "Rocky" music playing in the background. :-)
    Love you! Aunt Carole
